Voice Over Recording Software: Which is the Best Voice Over Recording Software? #VONotes

Hey, what’s up, everybody? It’s Chris Edgerly with another #VONote and today I’m gonna talk about recording software!

Now, every now and then I get asked what kind of recording software I use for my auditions. I have a lot of colleagues that use GarageBand because they love it. I have friends who use Pro Tools.

A lot of these guys are tech-heads…I am not.

I need to use the easiest thing possible, save it to the MP3, and get it off my computer so I can move on to the next thing.

What I like to use is Audacity.

Audacity is free, it’s open source, and it’s also really easy to use!

Now, it does have bells and whistles for anything else you want to use it for. I have also used it for actual work, so even though Audacity is free, that is not to say that it’s not very high quality. Which it is.

I hope this has been helpful for you. If you have any questions or comments, put them in the comments section below and hit that subscribe button so you can see these #VONotes as I make them!
