Voice actor Chris Edgerly is a voice that you have undoubtedly heard a million times before, but do you know the man behind the voice? Born in Silver Spring, Maryland, Chris Edgerly attended Benedictine Military High School before heading to the University of Georgia. It was during his time at the University of Georgia that Chris discovered his love for stand-up comedy and it was this that prompted a ten-year stand-up comedy tour. Throughout this tour, Chris was able to flex his voice acting skills with many of his recognized voice profiles of today and he even had the opportunity to work with Nickelodeon sporadically while touring.
It wouldn’t be until years later when he moved to California that Chris became the voice actor Chris Edgerly who we know today. Since his relocation to Los Angeles, Chris has found the voice acting niche to accommodate his skills well and has featured in movies, TV shows, and video games, while still doing the occasional stand-up gig.
Although Chris can’t seem to drag himself out of the stand-up comedy world completely, he has certainly made a name for himself in the voice acting community as well.

Of all of the roles that Edgerly has taken on during his voice-over career, the most frequent and diverse is that of animated characters on The Simpsons. Not only does he take on multiple unique vocal profiles but he often does so for more than two characters in a single episode and has since 2011!
